Phoebe Baum

Phoebe is our Social Services Advocate and a Licensed Social Worker. She runs our Life Skills groups for New Leash’s  Diversion and Prison programs, provides individual client services, and advocates at court on behalf of our participants. . Additionally, she runs the student internship program and provides clinical supervision to students.   Before getting her MSW, Phoebe taught high school Spanish in the Philadelphia School District for 5 years. She then transitioned to a position in the district as a high school social worker. Phoebe also comes to us with experience working within the shelter system in Philadelphia, doing both programmatic work and providing therapeutic services.
